    Hi

I have a moderate hearing loss and need closed captions on my Sanyo Z2.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is really frustrating to keep asking my wife about the content of the dialog.

For dvd you're pretty much stuck with the subtitles on the disc, if any. I have a few titles with no English subtitles, only cc and it doesn't work even on a regular HD ready rptv at anything other than 480i.

For regular and HDTV, most all DirecTV HD boxes can do both analog cc for ntsc and the new digital cc for atsc signals.

Hi Edgler I was looking into getting this same Projector, How do you like it any pros or cons? It seems like a very good projector and since the Z3 came out it dropped $200.

I am mainly gonna watch DVD's and HDTV!! THNX

    Thanks for the reply

    Pros:

Cheap, easily the best value in 16:9 projection available.
    Great DVI performance
    Lens Shift

    Cons:

Just a decent performance right out of the box
    Prone to dust blobs
Vertical lens shift doesn't give much latitude
Component inputs seem to give a softer image as compared to the DVI
