How To Iron Sheers

    I have sheers over my windows in my bedroom...and went and washed'em. Well..guess what...all wrinkles in'em! Tried a few things...iron of course...steam..etc. Nothing has worked so far..anyone have any ideas?

    Scooter,

    If you can wash at home, wash or rinse cycle again, (or use your bathtub) with a little bit of softener, and hang them straight over your shower rod till they are evenly lightly damp. (Don't let then dry completely again)

    If its a cotton, silk etc, on high heat (carefully) or a blend, - rayon, poly etc (lower heat).

    To be safe on these kinds of things you should use a handkerchief or some other very thin piece of cloth between the iron and material you are ironing to avoid, weird shine patterns on some materials or discoloration or scorch.
