i got this problem :

What matrix scales vectors by 3.6 in the x direction, by 2.5 in the y direction and 1 in the z direction. Draw the effect of this transformation on the vector

any of you can give me a hint?

Haven't you had linear algebra? Scale matrices are some of the simplest.

You really should do your homework yourself, but here's a hint, anyway. The identity matrix corresponds to scaling X by 1, Y by 1, and Z by 1.
