Hi, I have a Quicktime video on my computer and would like to convert it to mpeg in order to burn it to a cd.
Is there any program that can do this?

    Thanks.

Do you want MPEG-1 or MPEG-2? Are you trying to make a VCD, or an SVCD?

You can burn Quicktime onto a CD just as easily as MPEG.

If your goal is MPEG-1, the free version of TMPGEnc should do the job. If you want MPEG-2, you will need the full version.

The free version of TMPEGEnc, as Rob suggested, can convert video to MPEG-1, which is what you need for a VCD. I've never tried it with Quicktime files before, though, so I'm not sure if it can handle them or not.
Also, your CD burning software might be able to encode the files (to MPEG-1) for you.

BTW, if you have Nero Ultra, it will do it automatically for you in assembling your VCD [IMG]
