How to connect computer digi out to receiver (1 Viewer)

What cable or combination of cables do I need in order to connect my computer's digital out (which looks like a headphone jack) to my receiver's digital in? Am I supposed to use a cable that looks like a headphone plug at one end, and a single RCA connector at the other end, and then a butt connector to then connect my digital coax to that to run to my receiver?

I use an adaptor that goes from 1/8" (headphone jack) to RCA female then connect an rca cable to that into the receiver. Use whatever works. Try some from radio shack, they'll take anything back if it doesn't work out.
