Two of my alarm sensors battery needs to be replaced. Is this something I can do myself? My alarm company wants to charge me $79 to do it. I think that's expensive.
If anyone has done this before your help would be greatly appreciated.

Of course. Pull the sensor off the wall and see if you can find a battery cover. At the worst, you'll have to take a couple of screws off to get to the battery. Should just be a regular old battery available anywhere (type unknown, depends on your system). Then stick the sensor back on the wall.
You might call the people who sold you the alarm and ask if there are any other procedures you need to take. The sensors might be programmed to a specific address, and there could be a process to re-program them which would likely only entail pressing a few buttons on the sensor or a keypad. They should be able to tell you how to do it - if it's even necessary at all. I say, replace the battery and see if it still works. If so, good. If not, call them and ask for help.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you do criticize them, you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

Thanks Ryan. I just finish changing the batteries myself. Now I'm going go out and buy 4 new dvds.
