Hi all!
I was wondering how to work out the equations between bass boost in a room and the frequency response of a subwoofer.
I found out how to calculate the first, second and third harmonics, and the nulls and peaks in frequency response. Sadly, this information doesn't tell me anything about the actual boost in dBs from the room itself.
Is it possible to calculate this parameter, or is my best bet to make the nodal response as flat as possible, with the nodes spaced as evenly as I can?
