DVD has no insert either. I'm pretty sure it isn't supposed to have one.
Really? Hmmm. The only other ones I have like that are the Elite editions of Night of the Living Dead and Re-Animator. I bought quite a few of the MGM discs that look alike (no features, cheap price) and Scanners was the only one without an insert. Oh well, I don't feel so bad now.

Two:
Ghostbusters-- froze just before Slimer appeared.
Toy Story Ultimate Toy Box -- busted spindle and scratched disc.
In addition, anything from Madacy and the Highlander disc, but that's a different kind of bad. ;)

I just recently purchased Bridget Jones's Diary from Best Buy, and the middle hub is broken, and the disc was loose.

Since I bought the DVD at a different Best Buy than the one nearest me, does anyone know if I have to return the DVD to the same store I bought it from, or if I can take it to another one? Just curious if I should do it while I'm in town, or if it can wait until I get back home in a few days.
Nate, you should be able to return this DVD to any Best Buy with no problems.

My DVD's of Ben-Hur and Doctor Zhivago (disc 1) seem to have some trouble.
Perhaps my DVD player is getting overworked with these 3 hour plus epics. ;)
