I Know then brighter the better, But I found some projectors with 250L and 500L at a great price($400-$500)the projector will be used in a small room.about 10x12 and has no windows and a door so it can be pitch black. Is there a chart that shows lumes and what is good for the conditions? thanks for your input.

Vince, Thanks a lot for the information. I know I should really wait untill I save the money for a good unit and can afford $2000.00. This is what I'm gonna do. Till then my 61" rear projection will have to be good enough. Is there a formula for how far away you should be ideally from a 61" My current set up it about 12 feet away.thanks again

Or, you could just turn it on and do like I do.
