I still prefer Dts Neo 6 over DPL II...better off waiting till new Denon models come out later in the year...

I don't understand. If you are using your 2901 as a preamp, why don't you spend a couple of hundred more and get an Outlaw 950? It has all the features you might want and reputedly has great sound.

I can get the 2802 from my local authorized deal for $550. The outlaw is $900.

Reading about the new Denon models coming out, I am going to wait. I will then either A) buy a real preamp B) buy a new Denon model or C) get an 'old' xx02 Denon model cheap.

I don't mind PLII for movies, but it does nothing for me for music. CS5.1 (Circle Surround) does a better job, IMO.
