I am looking to upgrade my Denon AVR 3200 soon.

    Looking at the Rotel RC-1090
Anthem AVM-20(don't really know a lot about this peice)
Aragon Stage One (I like but not sure if i want to spend that much)

I will probably just get a 5 channel matching amp with whichever i buy.

My room setup is small and no room to run 7.1.

Speakers are Polk RT2000's Front, LS/FX rear, CS350 Center, currently cheating running the subouts on the towers. Getting ready to buy a SVS sub soon.

    Any help will be appreciated.

I did some searching and did not really see any price points on the Anthem peice.

    Thanks

I've seen prices that range from $2100 - $3200 for this pre-pro. The low end price is premium pricing with those who have a very good relationship with their local dealer.

$2100? I don't want to be a doubter, but do you think the $2100 was for a new AVM-20?

I thought I did well at $3826 CND for a new V2. I would have thought the US prices would be a little higher.

Hmm if i could get one in the low 2k range that would be very nice. How much do the 5 channel amps run for it?

It seems a lot of people are very happy with it.

Mine was $2500, but it's not the most current version - that takes another $300 upgrade which I'm going to do right now. Others have gotten it for less; I suppose many pay full price.

The lowest I've seen it in the states was $2750 (pre-upgrade). After the upgrade, in Canada, you can get them for about $3800 CDN. That comes to about $2450 US. There is a significant savings to getting this pre/pro in Canada if you are close to the border.

$2800 with new board at a local brick and Mordor 15 miles from my doorstep. Service with a bit of a smile if needed.
