I have been waiting for this on dvd ever since the series came out last year. I cannot wait to buy it today. I have been getting different quotes on the price for this everytime I call the store. I was just wondering what other people paid for this?

    I paid CAD$ 86.85 including international shipping at Amazon.ca. I hope it'll get through Dutch customs without problems (otherwise it's + 19%).

Just picked it up at lunch and I must say, they did a fabulous job with the packaging. The tin case it is in is really cool. I can't wait to get home today to watch a couple of episodes.

Ha ha! I have it.[IMG] Got it at Best Buy for $79, and they threw in When Trumpets Fade, so I'm not complaining. I've read you can get it through Amazon Canada for $69 US. I couldn't wait that long though. Now I just have to get out of work tonight.[IMG]

I paid $79.99 from Best Buy's website. Plus on Friday (or close to that) they'll send me my $25 digital coupon. I was going to use that for Sports Night, but Target has that set for $10 less that bb.com. I wonder, should I still use that coupon for that or save it for November 12th - Star Wars - LOTR - Metallica??

The packaging for BoB is really nice, even if a bit awkward to open. Can't wait to check it out in DTS with my front projector since I only had a 32" Wega the last time I watched it.

What's the OAR of When Trumpets Fade? Was it shot for TV in 4:3, or was it a theatrical release at 1.85:1? The packaging doesn't mention anything about the aspect ratio.

About $56 shipped from Amazon.ca (CDN$85.15). I don't need to have it on the release date so I'd rather save some money by getting it from the .ca site.

When Trumpets Fade IIRC was never released in theaters. It was an HBO special.

My Best Buy has it for $79.99 - I ordered it from Amazon CA for $56 since I can wait a bit for it. My buddy should have his today from BestBuy.com - he did the pre-order with gift card back deal $79.99 plus a fre $25 GC so $55 plus tax.
