I've just ordered a Harmon Kardon AVR110. There new AVR120 is the same thing except it has Prologic 2 wheres the AVR110 has logic 7. Is it a big difference in performance?

Not sure, but I believe that the Logic7 in the HK isn't quite the same version as in the Lexicon series. That being said, I'd guess that DPLII is probably a bit better for 5 channels. If one has a full 7 channel Logic7 implementation, that would be preferable to just 5.
As for Lexicon Logic7, the consensus seems to be that if you're using 5 channels, Logic7 is pretty close to DPLII, but with 7 channels, it's better...makes sense to me. Now if DPLII were scaled to 7 channels with appropriate delays and volume settings, THAT would be a cool CHEAP Logic7 substitute.

Randy is correct. DPL2 is as good as Logic 7 (IMHO) over 5 channels. A 7 channel system is better again.
The H/K version of L7 in their older receivers is not the full Lexicon version, but I understand the new H/Ks are better.
Personally, I'd get the DPL2 one.
