Since I got my new RPTV, I have this constant urge to sit down and immerse myself in its big screen splendor with a favorite movie or two.

However, once I get home from work, eat, help get the kid ready for and into bed, I'm too tired to sit up and watch an entire movie. Particularily the 2.5 - 3 hour epics I like to watch. So, I am feeling a little unfulfilled.

I guess it's because I've worked hard to get this theater completed and I haven't yet been able to really put it into full theater mode for an entire movie yet.

So, I pose this question to see how my viewing habits rank with you other hardcore HT freaks:

How many movies do you actually watch in their entirety per week? This does include owned DVDs, movies on cable, pay-per-view, rentals, that old VHS tape you borrowed from your buddy... Any full featured film from beginning to end.

I watch and review four or five a week, and usually watch four or five more for my own entertainment.

I have satellite (DishNetwork) for TWO purposes: Cartoon Network and Turner Classic Movies (and well, the very occasional IFC and Fox Movie Channel)

Most of my movies that I watch come from my DVDs or my VHS. I don't have much of a pre-recorded VHS collection...most of my tapes are from CN, TCM, and Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I'd have to estimate I watch anywhere from 3-10 movies a week.

I would guess 2-4 per week. That's an average as there are some weeks that I will watch 10 and some where I won't watch any at all.

I'd say on average 5-8. I never watch movies on TV, just VHS and DVD. I might tape a tv movie, then watch it later, but only if it is not readily available on VHS or DVD.

1 theatrical showing per week on average
    5-9 DVD/LD viewings per week.

I think I have my count of films seen this year at over 1 per day for sure.

If you're asking how many movies I watch in a week, it's probably 6-8. If you're asking how many I watch in one sitting from start to finish, it's 0. I almost always have to watch in increments ranging from 10 minutes to 30 minutes a pop because of numerous interuptions (a 2 year old and a wife [IMG]), and because I watch some in the morning before I go to work, which is not enough time to watch a whole movie.

The absolute minimum for me is 7. I try to watch at least one per day.

I sometimes go as high as 15 or so in a week.

About 10 movies a week average, at least one a day, and a bunch at weekends, cinema we go roughly twice a month.
On some days usually weekends I have double bills, themed nights, and next week on Halloween I expect to watch at least 4 horror movies going well into the night, looking forward to it, I have the skull, robes and black candles ready...[IMG]

My parents and I usually watch three movies in a weekend from Netflix during the school year, and about five a week during the summer.

I'm usually about eight or nine a week, watching at least two, perhaps more a day on the weekends. It all depends on thew homework load though.

If I told you the truth, you'd honestly call me liar. [IMG]
On a normal day, I can watch four quite easily. Since I'm a single guy (and a movie critic, natch), I have plenty of time and opportunity.
All my online time is spent with a movie running, so if you see a new post from me - rest assured I'm watching a movie. (Right now it's Logan's Run, a movie I dig more every time I see it.)

I'll watch at least 7. Usually one each night, I might miss a couple of the weeknights on average but I usually watch more than 2 movies on a weekend.

Around eight, depending on what The Brattle's programming is.
