I have a Dish 500 with a dual LNBF switch installed that was installed when I signed on for the Dish At-Home service a few years ago (the rental one). I now own 2 receivers (a 501 and 508 I bought used) and wondering how many more receivers can I install with the same LNBF, switch, etc.

    Thanks,
    Jay

Based on this, it sounds like you have a Twin LNB. That's a pair of dual LNB's and a pair of SW21 switches all in a single housing. The two outputs allow you to connect a pair of receivers or a single dual tuner receiver. If you want more, then you need either a Quad LNB (4 outputs) or a pair of dual LNB's and external switches. The Quad is easiest to work with. The dual LNB's is the most flexible and allows for more than four receivers.
