76, at last count. That number is growing on almost a daily basis thanks to TCM.

Thanks to the challenge, I've seen all 100, although there's a few of those I wish I hadn't [IMG].

Yeah, I did miss that, wasn't a member then I guess. Is it just me, or is it a travesty that Patton isn't even in the top half?[IMG]

Andrew, how many of the top 50 films have you actually seen? Judging by the fact that you said you only saw 27 of the 100 films the answer would most likely be "not many."

How can you say that Patton belongs in the top 50 if you have very little to compare it to?

    I just don't get it.

We all have our own opinions. On the one hand I can name at least 46 movies on the AFI top 100 that I think Patton is better than. However, I can also name 100 films better than Patton in my opinion. I have a lot of problems with the AFI 100 [IMG].

I have around 30 done, now does it count that I slept through Gone with the wind and The Birth of a Nation. If not then, 28.

I feel the same way, George. I just don't understand how he can say that Patton belongs up there when he has seen so little of the other films.

I've seen them all. Overall, I think it's a pretty fair list.

I saw around 1/2 an hour of The Birth of a Nation on TCM, (They showed it at around 11:30PM) and some how got all the way up to the intermission of Gone With the Wind which was also on TCM. Can somebody list when more top 100 movies come on TCM.
