I counted up my episodes once, and it was well over a thousand episodes total, but it has changed since I sold off a few of my season sets like Sex and the City.

For someone who appears to love Star Trek, why do you only have 40 episodes of the original series?

The reason I have only 40 episodes of Star Trek TOS is because I Still have the balance of them on VHS and the steep price at the time prevented me from getting anymore. Your next question would be why haven't I bought any of the seasons sets. Paramount has got enough of my money! The 40 episodes that I have were my favorite episodes. Since I have a whole lot of DVD sets as you can see, its hard to find the time to watch eveything. Lets face it some of those episodes (3rd season) were not that good. Most of the 40 episodes that I have are 1st and second seasons. Remember also I hace seen all the episodes at least 10-50 times each over the years. Perhaps I will someday get the balance on DVD when the right time (and price) comes
