A lowly "1" of my 54 DVD's comes from this category (although I used to have some of the others at one point).

46 on dvd, 6 on laser and only 2 that I don't own that I want to own: Goodfellas when it comes out as a non-flipper and Bringing Up Baby when it comes out.

I only own 1 (out of 139 titles.... ouch). If you'd like me to have more of these fine AFI top 100 films in my collection, please send me a check or money order to the "Matthew Chmiel Needs Good Movies on DVD" fund. Credit cards are acceptable, but please no CODs.

"I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class. Especially since I rule."
43 at the moment, two of which (the Lucasfilm production ones) are on VHS. As I read through the list, there were at least a dozen others that I either intend to buy or that haven't been released yet.

7 on DVD: Citizen Kane, North by Northwest, Jaws, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Silence of the Lambs
3 on VHS: Star Wars: A New Hope, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Raiders of the Lost Ark
So not counting the duplicate, that would give me 9 AFI top 100 films. I definitely need to buy more...

I have 26 in all, 20 on DVD. I'll probably end up with 70-80 out of the 100 because there's some movies I just didn't like much. Typically, I'd buy most of the titles NOT on DVD yet except for The Jazz Singer (Historically a good movie, but it's pretty dull besides the historical Vitaphone sound.)
I only have 17 on DVD but I only own about 60 and about 1/3 of that are my kids. I know I need more but I just thought I would add the previous disclaimer.
I have 33, or 1/3 of the AFI list on DVD and I'm purchasing many more of them in the future (On The Waterfront is one of them); I had many of them on tape as well but got rid of them.
