Or how board am I at work because I forgot my lunch and have nothing to do on my break?

While stupid me, took my lunch which included PB&J sandwiches out of the fridge, left in on the kitchen table, and went off to work. My question is how long will the jelly last in roughly 68 degree room temperature in an air tight container?

OOPS DOUBLE POST. My web browser timed out and I did't think the first post went through. Can a mod please close the first post?

DAMN DOUBLE DOUBLE POST not a QUAD post. You can tell because the second time I typed it in I corrected my misspelling of until.

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL "How long until grape jelly goes bad?" post. Please do not post in any of the copies.

I'd say it's when you throw it against the wall and it doesn't attempt to adhere. I'd think it would be bad then.

Should be OK for a while, perhaps even til next day. I've had jelly in my backpack for 4 days or so, although this was typically not at room temp and typically much cooler.
You know the DoD is researching PBJ sandwiches that last 3 years!

If you open the jar and it doesn't try to escape, it's OK.

My mom has some boisenberry jam in my refridgerator that is ~2 years old in my fridge (I know this for a fact because she bought it on a trip to Knott's Berry Farm)... still tastes good. [IMG]
