How Long Does It Take To Load a DVD-A Disc or SACD?

    My roommate just asked me this question, and since I don't have experience with either format, I was hoping to get feedback from you guys.

    DVD-A's don't take very long at all. I'd say about as long as a typical DVD. I don't know for sure about SACD but the initial players took quite awhile to load but I've heard the later ones are faster. I'm not sure how they compare though.

    My Sony SCD-777ES SACD player is slow as molasses when it comes to reading SACDs or CDs. The first-generation SCD-1 is slow as well. My newer-generation SCD-C333ES and SCD-C555ES SACD changers read TOCs noticeably faster, but I feel my Technics DVD-A10 DVD-Audio player reads DVD-Audio discs faster yet.
