I just picked this 3 Disc set up because it looked like it might be a good scare. Been a long while since I had one of those. Anyway I am at work and was wondering has anyone taken a look at the disc is it any good as far as quality goes?

The word on the street is not too shabby.
Seriously though, it's apparently the definitive word in all things Suspiria - video, audio and extras-wise.

Yes, this is definitely the Suspiria package to have! Stunning picture quality, cool extras, and the documentary is wonderful. Comes with the awesome soundtrack as well. A must-have for horror fanatics like myself!

Excellent quality. You will not be disapointed with this software. The packaging is very nice. Anchor Bay continues to do a fantastic job. [IMG]

I bought this set sight unseen and am very happy. My advice- buy it, check it out... if it is not to your liking wait a month or two and you can sell it on eBay for twice what you paid for it. I have heard that the Limited Edition is scarce already.

Anchor Bay seriously understands how to do a special edition set. Anamorphic encoding on all materials, documentaries that are informative and interesting (not your usual 'featurette' garbage), and careful treatment of the films. Suspiria is no exception. Great package all-around.

I watched this for the first time last night, and have to agree that Anchor Bay continues to amaze with the quality they deliver to these films.

It's a superb disc, but personnally I was a little disappointed with the movie - if you've never seen it, but all you've heard is endless praise your bound to be a little let down. Still a great flick, but not as awesome as you may wish!

As I have stated a thousand times, NOT including the ORIGINAL mix is a major mistake, one that should not be accepted. The fact that Anchor Bay included a 2.0 track that was downmixed from the 6.1 remix is infuriating. I have compared the DVD's 2.0 to the Laserdisc's PCM and the LD tops it hands down.
The remix has the Goblin music too low. It should be much louder and I have to turn my system way up to compensate.

This is one of the coolest DVD sets I've ever seen, it's so heavy! [IMG]
The soundtrack CD is cool, and the quality of the movie itself is awesome!
I can't comment on the sound issues, as this is the only version I own, but all in all the DVD sounds great to me!
