    Kristian,

I have Core and have only listened to the DD 5.1 track since I don't have a DVD-Audio capable play, and the DD track is incredible. I compared the CD and the DVD-A and the DVD-A is better in every aspect. Better highs, tighter bass, and just an all around fuller sound. Weiland's vocals are crisp and clean. If you are a fan, you need to have this DVD-A in your collection.

    Dean --

I can only listen to the DD track as well. I was wondering if you experience a 1 second gap between songs. That is happening on my player with this disc, and it's a bit annoying. I'm assuming this wouldn't happen with the high res track ??

    Curious about two issues:

    1) Who did the multichannel remix?

    2) Wondering why the people listening to the DD version of the track are experiencing better fidelity to the PCM CD, since the DD version would have about the equality quality to a mid-range MP3 file.

I agree with Dean. I have only played the 5.1 track since I do not have a DVD-A player and it was awesome. I have shared it with a few friends and they were blown away as well.

just pulled out my copy. even on my RP91 (which is a notoriously slow reader), i do not experience this 1-sec delay between tracks. the transition between tracks 1 & 2 and 2 & 3 (all i've listened to so far...it's been too long since i've listened to this awesome disc [IMG]) is smooth. strange that the DD track would be different.
