How is the component video hook up for Nintendo's GC? (1 Viewer)

Topic says it all.

With this price drop I will be picking one up. Now, I noticed that you can only get this cable through Nintendo's website ($29.95). How does this look on a RPTV. I have an Elite PRO-710HD. How does the progressive look of this system. Thanks in advance.

Progressive (and even non-progressive) looks excellent, with many details becoming immediately noticeable after the switch from composite hookups.

Using Madden 2002 as an example, after the switch, I could see details in the grass where it was just uniform green before. In addition, watch the jaggies on the yard numbers on the field. You will see a lot of aliasing and some shimmering without progressive enabled, but the image is smooth and stable with progressive on.
