Okay, after work today I decided to stop by the local record shop which also deals in used DVDs. While there I ran into my old pal Mike Hutman who is also a member here. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the copy of A.I. he was intending to purchase was the FULLSCREEN edition!!! I flew into a beserker rage and batted the case from his hand! Then I screamed "My God, man! What would the guys on the HTF think? Do you want to lose your membership? Are you nuts?" It was then that Mike hung his head in shame and admitted that he hadn't been paying attention. Then he thanked me for pointing out his mistake, ambled over to the shelf and pulled out a widescreen copy.

Whew, that was a close one!

You should have shown some restraint and just thrown acid in his face.

I feel Mike's shame, but not really. [IMG] I loaned a copy of A.I. from the library, but I didn't look carefully and I grabbed a full screen version, which was the only version they had at the time. Rest assured that I did not open the case.

Steve I noticed you took "creative license" in your story. But man what a friend you are....

Do you want to hear the best part of the story. I got home opened the DVD, and wouldn't you know it. That's right. They put the full screen in anyway.[IMG] So now I have to go back and have them give the Wide Screen tomorrow.
