It seems like you are getting drastically different settings/results from everyone else.

Have you tried moving the sub around the room to see if the specific location it's in right now is creating a null at the listening position?

I have to set my receiver up to +12 gain to get the amount of low frequency that I like.

I blew a fuse on my 25-31PC+ .... must've been way over 100db to cause a 50 cent fuse to save my $800 sub!
