...destroy a Bose Acoustimass system?
Answer: Give it to a hardcore audiophile for Christmas.
Put more than 10 watts through it.
Calibrate it to reference level in your beautifully decorated 3000ft^3 living room and then play the TPM THX intro.
Just watch out for flying speaker parts
I'd pay admission to see that
Well, if enough people would pay to see it, we could go buy a set and watch :p)
Problem is I wouldn't pay more than $5 to see it. Besides, it would be tough to fit 150 people into a 3000ft^3 room and being populated that densely many people would surely be injured by all the flying speaker parts. After that happened I'd feel bad, so I'd have to give them their money back. At which point I'd be out several $100 bucks with a bunch of busted cubes and a bass module that exploded just like the ball
but isn't price moot when an evil is being removed from earth?
i would try and PLUG it into the wall outlet and see what happens!..I bet seeing smoke coming out of the bass module would look pretty darn cool!!
I literally through a pair of 901s in the trash (before I knew selling over the internet was so easy). They were given to me, and I finally realized what real audio was.
They have gone to a far better place.
