I can't seem to remove the clips on my Mit's 55413. I really want to see what the picture looks like without it. Where do I hold...what direction do I pull?

I have the same problem with my 55513! The manual has a diagram, but it doesn't seem to match the actual TV. And I'm afraid to try forcing it.

On my 48313, in the top right corner of the screen, I put a plastic pencil (with the point retracted) in the groove between the clip and the frame and pushed toward the left. It took a bit of pressure. Once I got the corner out, the rest came out easily. I then went to the top left corner and pushed to the right. Be sure to use something that won't scratch the screen. Hope that makes sense.

Hi, it's better if you use a small piece of plastic, like a credit card or an ID, and place it between the DS clip and the DS, then pull towards you (away from TV).

Gregg Loewen removed the Diamond Shield from my Mits 55807 using an ordinary putty knife.

    Ralph,

It wasnt an ordinary putty knife, it was an ISF certified putty knife! :)

Dont use a pencil, use something that will spread out the force evenly.

    Best wishes

    Gregg
