How do you pronounce Hsu?

    I have no clue. I've always thought in my head HSU like JBL or B&W or SVS. I see a lot of people on the forums type it this way like HSU TN1220, I know its the founders name but I have now Idea how to say it.

    My guess is that it's like "sue", but it's just a guess...

    The correct pronunciation is shoe.

    Huh, I have always thought it stands for Holy Subwoofer Utopia... [​IMG] Actually I'm pretty sure it's a Chinese last name pronouncing like "shoo". Kindda like Russ says it sounds like 'shoe' but without the 'e' and drag the 'o'. A least that’s the closest pronunciation that I can come up with.

    If I recall correctly, they've been answering the phone(!) "Sue Research" since the mid-'80's. [​IMG]
