What kind of inputs does the projector have? You'll need a cable box to convert the cable tv signal into something that's compatable with the projector.

or use your vcr to be able to change channels on the projo.

The cheapest way to get the cable to your projector is to follow other's recommendations. Get a cable box. I use a digital cable box from Brighthouse and use the component cables to the projector.
