How do you FF and REW with the X-box CD Player?? (1 Viewer)

i just got a refurbished x-box and ripped a few songs. It plays and sounds great but i cannot find a fast-forward or rewind button. there is track skip, play, stop, random, and repeat, but i haven't been able to scan to the best parts of songs. But I've only had the X-box for a few hours, so i may have missed something if so someone please tell me what that is.

i never use my xbox for that, but my guess would be that you need to drop $30 on the remote.

I have the remote... tried it... you can't do it! There doesn't seem to be a FF/REW option.

that is really dumb
the only reason they would do that is to deter people from playing their soundtracks for recreational use, b/c what cd player doesn't have ff/rew??
