How do you email people with phone # only? (1 Viewer)

My techie skills are obviously slipping. Hate texting by phone, little tiny buttons, etc.People have emailed me with only my phone number available. Like [email protected]. I don't even know the address, how are they doing this?Taking some university classes where we had to provide contact info, and started receiving texts and emails on my phone and Outlook. Used to run the network, phone system, cell phones, email, internet, BlackBerry, etc. for a company with about 400 employees, so not a complete idiot, but I'm missing something with this one.

I figure we're all allowed one stupid question per year, this is mine.

Thanks Dave. Maybe people have just been guessing, using att.net, Comcast.net, etc. until they hit the right one.
