I just ordered a new laptop through Dell-8600 with the wide screen of course.. It has a wireless card (Intel® PRO/Wireless 2100 WLAN (802.11b, 11Mbps) miniPCI Card), Centrino, 512 DDR ram, etc. I also got their D-Link DI-624 Xtreme G 108Mbps Wireless Router. My question is this: Can I run the laptop and the PS2 at the same time? I have the network adapter on my PS2…does it pick up the connection through the airwaves or what? Do I need to connect something to the PS2 other than the network adapter?
I have cable internet and a com21 cable modem going into my Dell desktop.... I’m not too smart when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Here’s all the info about the computer. Don’t really know what it all means. Also, what do you think of this computer? I want to use it as a 2nd home PC and also as a mobile DVD player in my truck.

I'm not familiar with a PS2 network adaptor, but unless it has wireless capabilities, you will need to run a wire from the network adaptor to your router. And since it's a router, you shouldn't have any problems running both simultaneously

ty, I'll ask this question in the gaming area as they may have a bit more knowledge with this kind of stuff.
