How do I connect a rear surround speaker to an Onkyo TX-SR703 for 6.1 surround sound? Looking at the back, a 7.1 setup seems pretty obvious, but since there is a L and R surround speaker post, how would I go about connecting ONE rear surround speaker?

Use the surround/back left. Don't forget to turn the surround/back channels on in the speaker menu (but not to "zone 2").

I looked in the manual for an Onkyo 603 and on (or near) page 21 it said if you are only using one back speaker (6.1) to use the SB left. I think the SB left and SB right receive the same signal, un-like the SL and SR which receive different and distinct signals (but I'm not positive since I only have a 5.1) so it probably doesn't matter which one you use. My H/K manual makes no mention of how to hook up a 6.1 configuration, that I could find anyway.
