This question has remained unanswered for a good ten years. Last I remembered, they were trapped in a time warp. Did they ever get out? What was the series finale? ARGH!!!!!

I don't personally remember, but I never thought there was an ending as much as a last episode. I didn't think there was a story arc they felt needed concluding was there?

You guys crack me up! Just the title of this thread made me laugh. I had not thought about the Smurfs for one heck of a long time.

My favorite episode had to do with the Purple Smurfs. I think it was a curse/disease that spread to other Smurfs when a purple smurf snuck up behind you and said "Gn-nap!" and bit you on the ass. Damn...that was funny.

Remember the Smurf Song? It reached no. 1 in the UK charts (we have these abberant moments:frowning: ) and a chain of petrol (sorry, gas) stations bought the rights to the song. The following Christmas, they played it non-stop on the gas station public address system for the whole week before Christmas. I remember going into the station on Christmas Eve, and the look on the attendant's face was indescribable.

One of the drinking games we played a few years ago was to watch a few episodes of the smurfs and drink everytime "smurf" was said. It wasnt too bad until they broke out into the smurf song. I remember that song very well, it all went downhill after that hehe.
