How did last Wednesday's Law & Order end? (1 Viewer)

My local channel screwed up their airing of last Wednesday's Law & Order. That's the one with

the mother who kills her schizophrenic son and is defended by her niece who only cares about climbing the corporate ladder.

Right before the verdict was about to be given, the station stopped the show and ran commercials, completely missing the end. They never did come back and complete the episode.

So, what was the outcome?

What was the verdict & sentence (if found guilty), and what happened to the lawyer niece?

Thanks to anyone who can fill me in. It's been killing me not knowing how it ended.

She was found guilty, but I don't recall any sentencing. The jury did make a comment about not wanting her to spend any time in jail.

The jury did make a comment that they did not want her to spend any time in jail, but there is a minimum sentence for a conviction of murder in the second degree. I don't remember the exact requirement, but there was significant jail time.
