How can I distinguish between different versions of Paradigm subs? (1 Viewer)

I am trying to tell the difference between versions 1-4 of PS and PW series subs by looking at the back of them.

What versions of PS series subs are these? Do any two versions look exactly the same?

What versions of the PW series is this? How can I tell the difference between 1,2, and 3?

I believe this is v.4. Am I correct?



Some more questions...

Why doesn't Paradigm put v.x on their subs like they do other speakers?

What was the first year Paradigm made PS or PWs?

Does anyone have old catalogs (pdf) of v.1, v.2 or v.2 Paradigms?

I'm not sure how to tell between their subs.

I do know that is their older logo on both of those subs. But that doesn't mean they aren't at least a V.2 I doubt they are V.3's though.

Well, I have the PS1000 v.4 and it says so on the back on my sub. Can you provide a closer look??? I did own a PDR12 v.3 and once again it said so on the back. All I know to tell you. BTW, I love my PS1000 v4 it is very punchy and tight just the way I prefer it to be. Lots of kick and power too. Good luck.

Due to what ryan has posted I would bet for sure that those are V.2's or even V.1's.

Well, as far as the PS-1000 (or 1200) go, the first three pictures are all different. If you click on them, you can get bigger versions of the first two. The differences are:

Pic 1: 8 speaker wire jacks, 4 rca plugs (I have this, I think it is v.1)

Pic 2: 4 speaker wire jacks, 4 rca plugs

Pic 3: 8 speaker wire jacks, 2 rca plugs

If you look at the big pics of the PWs, the same type of differences are also easy to see. I was told the last pic is a PW-2200 v.4
