how bad is the booming problem on Samsung TXN3245? (1 Viewer)

I saw this at Circuitcity and it looked like a great set for $649 except for the booming problem. It was very noticeable in the widescreen mode. Can it be fixed in the service menu? I would appreciate feedback on this set from anyone who has it. Thanks

The blooming is caused from the contrast being cranked up. Did you play with the settings?

As Donnie notes, no need for service-menu operations. Lower the contrast and the blooming will subside.
