dvd players? Do they have the chroma bug? Do they have both optical & coaxial outputs? Are they progressive scan?

Thanks for the info. Looks like I need to move to another brand. Any suggestions? I have the JVC SA70BK & like it very much, but am looking for an additional unit.

Can someone explain this 'chroma-bug'? I'm on my second Pioneer DVD player and have no idea what this means.

No idea what the chroma bug is ether.

Anyway I have a Pioneer that plays dvd's/dvd-a/cd/cd-video and cd-r's/cd-rw's. My neighbors Panasonic has problems with mpg cd video discs. My brother has a JVC that is horible. And I would pick the Pioneer over the JVC any day. I think I would go with the Panasonic as well over the jvc. My primary dvd is a Sony DVP-S9000 ES and the secondary is a Pioneer DV-525. I personally prefere the Elite line for pioneer but the standard seems to be good.
