I heard their song "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" on the radio the other day, and I thought it was pretty good. My only problem is that the singer can get annoying.
Right now, the best new aussie/brit band is easily Jecht.
BWAHAHAHA! No way. Radiohead is held in very high regard. You can't get to the same level as Radiohead with 1 silly song. All of Radiohead's music is art. True inovation. Very unique sounds.
I love Radiohead, but comparing the two is silly. In the dark, alone, on a Sunday evening, Hail to the Thief is sublime. At a pool party, with the BBQ flaring up and the gals in their best two-pieces: we need some Darkness rockin' and a-rollin'.
Someone is going to loan me a copy of the album. If I get as much a kick out of at least 3 of the other songs as I do the single, I shall be getting me a copy.
Blabbermouth.net says that The Darkness will be on the main stage at Ozzfest (The biggest heavy metal festival in the country) this year, so they must be doing pretty damn well here in the US!
I wanna shake you off but you just won't go And you're all over me but I don't want anyone to know That you're attached to me, that's how you've grown Won't you leave me, leave me alone
Anybody that can write a great song about pubic lice is OK in my book!
