How about "subscribe to post or thread"? (1 Viewer)

It's great to get an email that someone has replied to one of my threads. Saves time on searching out my original post to see if anyone responded. However, some of them go off into such a tangent, I don't recognize the topic anymore. How about giving us the choice to subscribe to the original post only, not replies to the replies, similar to what DellTalk does?

When you get an email from a topic you no longer are interested, it has a link immediately following the post which will take you to an unsubscribe page. Just click that link and you'll be immediately unsubscribed.

This forum does not differentiate between someone replying to the original post vs. replying to a reply- like some thread related BBS systems do.

There is only a single reply function- and it replies to the global discussion.
