I love this show. Hopefully they will not pull another show that I like. It seems that this has become a habit lately. I find a show I like and then the networks pull it.

What I also found was that I couldn't remember where I had seen Hugh Laurie in anything before. Then my daughter had out her Stuart Little DVD and there he was. Quite a stack contrast of characters and goes to show you Laurie's range as an actor.

What bugs me about the show is that he has three other specialists around him yet the script is always written so that they are a bunch of idiots and only House is right. The other doctors around him are already specilists in their field. I look forward to the episodes where House is wrong. I mean why even have them around if they are always wrong. Just have House come in and do his thing and argue with the other doctors on the show.

I LOVED the episode where House went into the OR and coughed and then spit on the sterile field to keep the surgeon from cutting her open.

Actually, House has been picked up for a full season - previously it had only gotten a "back 5" because of its late start and expected two-hour episodes of Amercan Idol - and renewed for next year.

Jeeves & Wooster, man. Get Jeeves & Wooster.

No. It would appear that Dr. Wilson and Dr. House have a flame in common in the Stacy that was mentioned. It would seem she broke House's heart but Jimmy is going out with her. And speaking of Wilson dating, where the heck did this come from? In the Christmas episode he seemed kind of doting on his off-screen wife even though he spent the evening with House. Now all of the sudden he's Captain Womanizer.

I like this show a lot, but I will have to see if I don't get tired of the formulaic format of the show. It would be interesting to see if they can't develop some kind of story arc. Who knows, maybe that would even hurt the show. For now though, I am enjoying it.

I've caught this the past few weeks...only reason being I decided to try and watch American Idol, and it came on afterwards...House is great! I loved last nights episode, especially the ending. I got a good laugh out of the scene where he was ordering his own painkillers.

Glad to see AI is introducing more people to this show, I've watched it from the get-go, and House always brings the funny. Plus, I still crush on Cameron.

Oh man, Cameron looked crushed when House pretty much rebuffed her advances.

I think this was the first time I've ever seen Chi McBride smile and showing off his teeth.

The dynamic between Vogler and House could be entertaining, but then again, House with anyone is pretty entertaining.

If House knew he gave a heart to Nina Myers, would he have re-considered? :D

It was odd seeing Sarah Clarke as anything other than Nina Myers tonight.

Glad to see Chi McBride again. At first I thought his character would be great, but seeing how they are pushing him I dont like where he is headed. The man wants control of everything, but it will be interesting to have an antagonist for House that not only doesnt like him, but doesnt respect him either.

And looked tonight that House has upgraded his video game playing from a GBA SP to a Nintendo DS. Next season it will probably be a PSP.

First, the Chi McBride direction is stupid. The show doesn't need it. It's another step closer to ER. Wait, didn't they have a hospital administrator that conflicted with George Clooney's character all of the time on ER? By the way I hate ER seasons 3 through now.

My coworkers and I are confused about one plot point from last night. WHy was the CEO cutting herself on the leg? I understand that she was taking Ipecac as her mechanism of her bulimia, but what does cutting have to do with it? Manifestation of the neurogological issues?

Also, why no colonscopy? SOmething to do with shame?

I like how not everything is dotted and crossed on House M.D. but the cutting thing was not clear.

Otherwise, everything else was the usual greatness.

Many people who cut themselves also have an eating disorder (I actually learned that recently in my psychiatry class). Also, bulimia induced by ipecac fit with her type of congestive heart failure.

She didn't want the scope because she didn't want anyone to see the cuts.

What did House's coworker mean when she said "Do you like me?" did she mean it in a relationship kind of way? or like "Hey, your cool, I like you, lets be friends?"

Im not to sure what she meant by "Do you like me" either. I think that House does actually like her, in a friendship way, but didnt want to say it. Why ruin the "i hate everyone" demeanor.

And as for the cutting, that is a sign of psych problems. I had a friend a while ago that did that to herself a lot and always hid it. Found out later that was the least of her problems.

To me, the tone of Cameron's voice when she asked the question, she wanted to know if there was any future for them beyond the work relationship. And House slammed the door on that with a curt "No." But you could tell he struggled to utter his answer because deep down, I think he does like her, but House views himself as damaged goods in some respects, and perhaps he thinks he has her best interest in mind, especially if they went down a romantic avenue that didn't work out.

I think the scene was so awkwardly natural, kudos to both Laurie and Morrison.

Cutters will cut on themselves to "relieve" the pressure that is built up inside emotionally. If a "cutter" is admitted to the psych ward you can bet that they have something to cut on themselves with close by. You have to check in with them every few minutes, to make sure they haven't gained access to something that you didn't know about, to cut on themselves with.

I am a bit miffed because my ReplayTV (although it was set to record the episode) missed the first 30 minutes for some reason.

I thought it was an interesting line when Chi McBride said "Hmm...it is easier for me to get rid of a board member than a doctor." It is going to get interesting around the hospital with all the power struggle that he is bringing to the mix.

Wow...I'm really disappointed to see this show resort to the cliche "new Chairman" approach to give House more conflict. I guess they felt his conflict with everyone else was too smart-alecky and they wanted to get "serious".

Whatever.

I hope it doesn't last long. It's so cliche and soapy. The show does not need it.

Meanwhile, I enjoyed the rest...and, it was sad when House finally said "no" to Cameron.

Maybe the new CEO guy will get some inexplicable disease that only House can help him with... that would be an interesting way to resolve this new situation.
