    Hi gang!
I'm selling my home (probably taking the theater with me, but we can talk! [IMG] ) in Teaneck, NJ. It's great for commuting into New York City and is an easy 35 minute drive from the Scootplex!
It's 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, with a full finished basement. Very big rooms, and tons of closet space. The bus stop for getting into the city is less than a 5 minute walk away.
Price is $339,900, and you can see the listing at YHD Foxtons. The listing # is A3052, in case the link doesn't work.
Or feel free to post here with any questions!

I can only afford about 1/3rd of that. Can I just buy the HT room? [IMG]

Wowy! I've been looking for houses locally and around here $170,000 is too much IMO... I'm glad I'm not out there [IMG]
Just curious though, How far are you from Morristown?

I believe Teaneck, N.J. is still home to former major leaguer Jim Bouton. Bouton wrote Ball Four, the greatest sports book ever, and perhaps the finest manifesto about the real world any kid ever read.

I'm not too far from Morristown. . .not sure of the exact distance, but I'm sure Mapquest could tell us.
I LOVE my fridge. I don't even have it cranked up halfway and it keeps food fresh a looooong time. (Yeah, I eat food past the freshness date. [IMG] ) It especially keeps bread fresh and moist for incredible lengths of time.
    That, and it's HUGE. [IMG]
    It's a Maytag Plus, 24.7 cubic feet.

I think your home theater is a little... "lacking".

Wow, $340k? Sweet holy cow, that's expensive! I'm sure it's perfectly acceptable where you live, but man oh man... Here, $340k would buy a 5000sqft house with 6 bedrooms, a couple of acres, large shop, etc. Most homes go for $100k and that gets you three bedrooms, two baths, nice kitchen and two living/family rooms.
Boy, am I glad I don't live where you do. [IMG]
Good luck selling your house, though. It looks really nice. [IMG]

    Guys,
Let me say that just a couple of miles away is the heart of Manhattan, where $340K will literally buy you a parking space! [IMG]
It's definitely one reason for moving elsewhere. I recently looked at a newly-built house in a beautiful development in Florida (West Palm Beach/ Boca Raton area)--6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms for $260K!

    Andy,
"Crystal Lake", eh? Do you feel safer, now that Jason Voorhees has gone to outer space? [IMG]
Incidentally, I saw a trailer for a new Halloween flick today! It even has Jamie Lee in it.
Is it just me, or was The Scorpion King just Conan 3 with the name changed? (I liked it--it was fun.)

    Aaron,
Nice place. My jaw didn't hit the floor until I saw your taxes listed at $7,272 [IMG] Is that really what the taxes are out that way? Here in Michigan there are plenty of areas where houses like yours go for $300k, but the taxes aren't nearly that high.
