Dome Vongvises
Halloween- Good film, but overrated, and not one of Carpenter's top films.
Suspiria- Argento's greatest film! A true masterpiece on just about every level!
The Exorcist- Not scary, but that doesn't mean its not a stellar film.
Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn-
The Devil's Backbone- Good film that may become a favorite.
Tenebre- This masterpiece is neck and neck with PHENOMENA for Argento's second best film.
The Uninvited- it's okay.
Nosferatu- Good, but not as great as some say.
Deep Red- Argento's only overrated film, and its still quite good.
The Burning- Easily one of the best slashers!
Below-
Dagon- The best Lovecraft adaptation to date!

Eraserhead- Just one of Lynch's many masterpieces.
Carrie- Good, but a tad overrated.
The Omen- Excellent satanic classic!
Don't Look Now- A beautifully shot, well acted, and very eerie masterpiece!
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer- One of the more disturbing horror gems.
The Devils- Needs an uncut release!
Flesh for Frankenstein- It's growing on me more and more.
The Hunger- Sorry, but this film is awful.
The Company of Wolves- Not a fan.
Horror of Dracula-
The Reflecting Skin- An overlooked and very underrated masterpiece!


Despite both having some masterpieces, Bill's list contains some duds, while Dome's contains none, so I vote for Dome.

Dawn of the Dead- Spectacular film, but DAY is still the best.
Freaks-
Re-Animator- Outstanding film, and David Gale rules in it!
Cronos- Good Del Toro effort.
Island of Lost Souls- Great film that isn't mentioned often.
The Fearless Vampire Killers- Groovy little Polanski film.
Phantasm- Great, but I think the sequels are even better.
Lair of the White Worm- Underrated Russell pic!
Scarecrows- A very rare and underseen film, and its creepy as hell too!
The Creature From the Black Lagoon- Easily the best of the Universal classics!
The Wolf Man- Good, but not amazing.
Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979)- Better than Murneau's film if you ask me.

Rosemary's Baby- Polanki's epic, and besides PRINCE OF DARKNESS, this is the greatest Satanic film of all time! It is also one of my top 10 favorite films of all time.
Psycho- Great film, but I think the fantastic THE BIRDS is even better.
Army of Darkness- Maybe my favorite of the series.
The Sixth Sense- Good, but extremely overrated.
The Others- Interesting gothic horror. Amenbar is a very talented newcomer!
The Silence of the Lambs- Excellent horror/drama hybrid.
Poltergeist- Putrid excuse for entertainment.
Frailty- Brilliant film!
American Psycho- Wonderful horror/satire!
The Ring (2002)- Can't touch the original, but it's good.
Bram Stokers Dracula- Not good.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)- Excellent film, but not quite the masterpiece that Kaufman's 1978 remake is.
