Has anyone else seen this yet?

It looks like a parody of Charlie's Angels or maybe some kind of law-enforcement themed interpretive dance video. Is Billy Crystal stepping on Gregory Hines' leg or is he doing a Michael Flatley impression?

Whoa, that is a bad cover. I thought the original cover played to the movie better.

I don't normally bitch about cover art... but the first time I saw that cover art, I burst into laughter. It is without a doubt the worst I've seen. The artist's interpretation of Crystal makes him look like an armed ballet dancer! And I hate that "oh look, we're trying to show you how wacky this movie is" lettering on the word SCARED. BLECH!
And am I the only one who thinks it looks all out of perspective? It looks like two giant guys terrorizing a city! What is this... Godzilla? Crystal has his foot raised like he's going to stomp a screaming tourist...

Yeah, the original U.S. movie poster was much better (gee, that sounds familiar [IMG] ). Take a look at it here: http://us.imdb.com/Posters?0091875

P.S. I'm not sure what the heck is supposed to be going on in that French poster! Looks kinda kinky though...

Oh I can't wait to get this disc, but that cover is just nonsense. MGM is the worst offender in providing VHS quality covers that look like they were drawn by third graders. Ugh.....

It's not that bad. The James Bond covers are worse, and the Phantom Menace one is bad. I do love the Willy Wonka one.
I wonder why the studios find it so hard to come up with a nice dvd cover.

Maybe MGM has stolen all their artwork from a beginners Adobe Photoshop class. I think they were all final projects. [IMG]

That's a pretty bad cover. I don't care, though, as long as they do a good job on the film.

to me, i think the perspective is a little off. Looks like Billy's leg/body is way to long. plus it looks like Billy had a few too many drinks. [IMG]
I hate when they do artwork/photos like this.

That cover is terrible. Is that a posed photograph or a sketch? Becuase that would mean they were actually in that pose for the picture.
BTW, does anyone else think Billy looks like Yakov Smirnoff in that cover?

Billy Crystal looks like he's going to step on that guy in the background.
[Edit: Oops! Mr. Anderson already mentioned this. Sigh. Someone get me a beer...]
Why couldn't they use a variation of the one-sheet (I know, too wide)? I think it's hysterical, and the tag line is icing on a very fine cake.

Yup, my first impression was that it looks like Yakov Smirnoff Riverdancing and/or having to go to the bathroom. I hate bad cover art myself, but this is so bad it's un-intentionally funny.
