    Well, it's not terribly relevant, but maybe you''l like this:

    I had a trio of JBL 2245 18" drivers with old, dead foam here at work. So, I trucked them over to the local central Florida speaker repair shop. It looked like somebody had truly pimped my ride with those monsters in the back seat.

    Anyway, while I was chatting with the dudes, I told them that I had stopped in at Quiznos for lunch, and that the music in there was just terrible. Kinda thin, no bottom end, couldn't hear the bass and kick drums at all. Then, I said, I figured out what the problem was: they have toasted subs.

    BTW: check out this DIY dual 2245H/400lb subwoofer being used "in a 2.7 by 3.0 by 2.1 meter room". Yikes!!
