I currently have my Paradigm Titans hooked up to a Sony SAW-MA20 using the speaker inputs and outputs. Am I gaining anything from this? Or would my speakers be better off connected directly to the reciever? The sub is already connected directly to the receiver And yes I will be getting a new sub soon! Just got to stick it out past Christmas with this Sony! Thanks in advance for your help!

Your subwoofer should actually be connected to the subwoofer jack on the back of your receiver. This will ensure that the LFE audio in movies will be properly sent to the subwoofer. Connecting it as you've described seems a bit off.

    1) Connect the speakers to their proper channel outputs on the receiver.

    2) Connect the subwoofer via the subwoofer output on the back of the receiver.

    3) Re-calibrate your system.

I'm sure it should sound much better.
