I have a Denon 1803 Receiver and a PS2. I spent hours last night trying to hook my PS2 through the Reciever. I was able to get sound, but not video....Heres what I did, and please tell me what I did wrong....

Hooked the RCA Cables (red, white, yellow) from the PS2 into video 1 input of the reciever.

Took a video cord (yellow) and connected it from video 1 output out to video 1 input on my TV.

Turned the TV to Video 1.

I heard sound, and it sounded great, but got no video at all..

Please help!!!! I really appreciate it...

Hi Adam, I believe you need to connect the yellow RCA cable that goes to the TV, to the "monitor out" connector of your receiver, not the video 1 output. Hope that helps.

Same thing for S-video, your receiver has a monitor out for composite, S-video, and component cables. Just hook up the S-video monitor out to a s-video in on your TV and you'll be all set.
