If I want to hook up dual subs can I use a y splitter off of my LFE output on my reciever (Kenwood 6070). Or is there a better way?

It's what I've done. The only other option would be to daisy chain them provided one of the subs has an output for that.

Daisy-chaining will also work using the splitter on the sub end. The sub doesn’t need a line output. Just plug the splitter into the sub’s input; one side goes to the receiver, the other to the second sub.
