I'm sorry if this is a simple question, but the fact is, I'm getting a PS2 next week and want to have all of the necessary cables to get this thing hooked up right.

I plan on getting some s-video cables for the video part, and I understand that when I finally get a receiver, I'll need a digital cable for the audio. But until then, I'm stuck with the possibility of hooking up my Klipsh Promedia 2.1 system.

There are 2 RCA audio cables with the S-Video cables. Is it as simple as going to Radio Shack and getting adapters to go from the RCA male on the s-video cable to the 1/8" male phono jack on the speakers? Will this work?

    Thanks, Aaron

Sorry, can you please move this to the Gaming Hardware section. Sorry. Must not have been paying attention.
