Hooking up a 2nd powered sub - need advice (1 Viewer)

I want to connect a 2nd powered sub to my system. Since I already have a line level cable over to my existing sub, is it OK to have a Y connector at the subwoofer location so I can run just two short cables to each sub? It would be easier for me than having the Y connector at my pre/pro and having to run a second long cable under the house and through the floor again to the second sub. What do you guys think?

Yes it doesn't matter where you insert the Y connector.
